Ireland Trip | 2017

My experience in one word was beautiful, and I can honestly say I've never felt more welcomed while traveling than during my time in Ireland. The immense feeling of joy and happiness was all I felt while venturing around this gorgeous place. I met so many amazing people, from the locals, to our tour guide, to people also visiting from the states...everyone seemed to have the same goal: to enjoy the moment, the atmosphere, and spread it to whomever they met.

One of my bucket list goals was to one day eat corn beef in Ireland (random I know, but corn beef is my absolute favorite + Ireland? Thought it was a good aspiration to have)...BUT once I got there I quickly found out that it's an "American thing" and that it's impossible to find. I was sad to say the least, but was not disappointed once I tried real authentic, Irish food :) I definitely would consider myself a FOODIE, in reality who's not? When it comes to the dishes I eat I seriously get excited and enthused by the different ones I try. I wouldn't consider myself a food expert, but would definitely consider myself a girl who knows what she likes and doesn't like, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the things I eat. It is something that truly excites me, clearly...

Take me back just so I can eat their food; would definitely recommend to a friend...or stranger / anyone I talk to about this trip. Every dish was so satisfying and fresh that I felt no other need than to document every thing I ate while there. Something I enjoyed about the menus were that they stated that the foods used in their dishes were grown on the farmland nearby, or caught in the port from that town...and you could absolutely tell by how fresh / flavorful the taste of every dish was.
